ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Our long-term dream is to secure funding that would allow us to conduct regular environmental clean up exercises especially at baboon habitats and in particular the Lake Nakuru National Park .
These park clean up exercise involve collection of garbage and setting up of permanent garbage collection stations within the Lake Nakuru National Park. The exercise is carried out by volunteers who include participants drawn from the wildlife clubs (wildlife troopers) from schools neighboring the park, corporate organizations , local county government officials and local communities residing close to the park.
Our main goal is to seek support (financial and otherwise) to find a permanent solution towards garbage collection and storage by communities residing near the primate habitats which is a deterrent to dependency of baboon that will reduce human conflict with the primate and when logistics allow (space available, permits in place etc) the Baboon Project Kenya will have achieved its objectives
